Since we began as a standalone lifting company in 2016, we have launched over 120 new and updated products globally with greater strength, and comfort, as well as easier transport, to help owners get more from their investment.

Design and manufacturing under The Manitowoc Way centers on kaizen (continuous improvement) principles to deliver high-performance, low-maintenance, innovative cranes that provide a clear competitive advantage. Manitowoc engineers work closely with users and buyers through the ‘Voice of the Customer’ program to identify real-time shifts in customer needs and implement new technologies and designs to effectively launch new cranes. The Voice of the Customer process also enables continual improvement and expansion of customer support through close coordination with dealers and owners, delivering service levels that keep cranes at maximum profitability.

The health and safety of our employees is a top priority, and we are driving down injuries, incidents, and lost time. In 2025, we achieved a Recordable Injury Rate of under 1.0 for the first time in our history, as we continue towards our goal of zero injuries.
