Lampson’s refurbished Manitowoc 2250 is now ready to serve a wide range of industries, such as construction, infrastructure, oil and gas, marine, and nuclear.
The refurbishment effort showcases Lampson’s expertise in heavy equipment engineering and restoration capabilities at its impressive Washington state facilities.
• The contractor used two Manitowoc crawler cranes to install new generators producing 4.4 megawatts of electricity per year, doubling the previous capacity of 2.2 megawatts.
• Despite site challenges, Boldt successfully rebuilt the 114-year-old dam powerhouse over several months relying on its own Manitowoc 2250 crawler crane.
• Boldt partnered with Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental to employ a Manitowoc MLC300 VPC-MAX™ to install two new generators on the site.
• Manitowoc will announce a significant new crane introduction at bauma China 2024 and showcase the features and benefits of its full product range on an interactive 510 sq. m booth.
• The Company will also highlight its cranes that have helped shape global infrastructure and honor its top dealers during the show.
