Potain to showcase its Hup and Igo self-erecting cranes at ARTIBAT 2018

Potain is bringing two models from its stellar lineup of self-erecting cranes to this year’s ARTIBAT 2018 construction tradeshow in Rennes France from October 24 – 26. The company will be at booth T2 B01 and is partnering for the event with regional Potain distributors JFM TONYMAT and SOME.

Four Potain cranes build new police hospital in Peru

The construction of the new Central Police Hospital in Lima Peru is underway with the help of four Potain tower cranes. Two MC 175 B and two MC 125 cranes are providing fast work at the job site lifting formwork prefabricated blocks and more to ensure the new hospital will be ready at the start of 2019. The new six-story building is being constructed in the same spot where the old hospital was demolished in the Jesus Maria district.

National Crane responds to customer demand with tractor-mounted version of the NBT30H-2 boom truck

National Crane has developed a tractor-mounted version of its popular NBT30H-2 the NBT30H-2 TM. The 30 USt machine was created as a response to the company’s Voice of the Customer feedback program an integral part of The Manitowoc Way. It went from concept to production in just eight months and was designed by a cross-functional team of experts from Manitowoc’s Lift Solutions team and National Crane’s Truck Modification Center as well as the company’s engineering team.

The Wilder Kentucky-based company has long been a Manitowoc customer and relies on the manufacturer’s cranes for a variety of applications particularly for large construction and petrochemical applications.

Four more Grove GMK4100L cranes for Indonesian dealer

PT SH Machinery Indonesia the dealer for Grove all-terrain cranes in Indonesia has ordered four GMK4100L cranes to add to its stock. The GMK4100L cranes will arrive in the first quarter of 2019 and PT SH Machinery Indonesia is confident they will prove popular. In 2017 the company delivered several of the long-boom all-terrain cranes.

Four new Grove cranes ensure smooth sailing at Taiwanese port

Grove’s dealer in Taiwan Champion Auto has delivered four new mobile cranes to a port in the south of the country. There are two GMK4100L all-terrain cranes and two RT540E rough-terrain cranes. Champion Auto is a market leader in Taiwan in the sales and support of heavy machinery military vehicles and other specialized equipment. It has been operating for 27 years.
