Two more Grove all-terrain cranes join large Tutt Bryant fleet for major Australian LNG plant turnaround

• New GMK6400 and GMK5250XL-1 arrivals joined an eight-strong Grove fleet to support an LNG plant shutdown close to Darwin, NT. Equipment supplier Tutt Bryant selected the cranes for their reliability and performance. 
• The original fleet of eight cranes handled the first stage of the shutdown in 2021 and then new arrivals provided added lifting power for the second stage in 2022. 
• A mix of four-, five- and six-axle cranes covered multiple tasks, with Manitowoc providing two on-site technicians to ensure maximum uptime.

First Grove GMK6400-1 in Italy heads to Sicily for Mandalà Noleggi

• Sicilian rental company Mandalà Noleggi adds Italy’s first Grove GMK6400-1 all-terrain crane to its fleet
• The crane is also the company’s first Grove mobile crane, and it was immediately put to work servicing local wind farm developments

Italian rental giant Massucco T. buys three Grove GRT655L rough-terrain cranes

• The compact and portable GRT655L features Manitowoc’s CCS (Crane Control System), enabling operations to be easily adjusted to suit individual preferences, making it the perfect rental crane.
• The 60 t capacity crane has a 43 m boom, tilting cab, and a removable counterweight — all features usually only found on larger rough-terrain cranes. 
 

Engl expands crane rental fleet with new Grove GMK4100L-2 all-terrain crane

• Austrian contractor and crane rental company Engl has received a new Grove GMK4100L-2, citing its superior taxi load charts, compact size, and comfortable cabs as reasons for purchasing.
• The four-axle crane has best-in-class taxi load charts plus a 60 m main boom. It can travel with up to 6.8 t of counterweight in taxi configuration.
• The new generation carrier cab on the GMK4100L-2 offers exceptional levels of comfort so drivers remain relaxed and refreshed.

Manitowoc in China launches largest Potain topless tower crane – the MCT 1005

• With a maximum capacity of 50 t and jib lengths of up to 80 m, the MCT 1005 offers huge capabilities for projects.
• Despite its larger size, three counterjib options are available to aid work on confined jobsites.
• The launch comes just a few months after the introduction of the 40 t MCT 805, which was previously the largest Potain crane built in China.

Hiap Heng makes first Grove acquisition with new GMK6300L-1

• The 300 t capacity crane is the Singapore company’s first Grove purchase.
• Hiap Heng has already used the GMK6300L-1 for maintenance work during a week-long shutdown at a petrochemical plant.
• The GMK6300L-1 is a well-established and popular crane among Singaporean contractors. 

Crane Korea expands its fleet with two new Grove five-axle all-terrain cranes

• The Company ordered a GMK5150XL and GMK5250XL-1 to support its growing roster of projects, including constructing a new semiconductor factory in Pyeongtaek.
• Long boom lengths, high capacities, and compact footprints, make the two cranes ideal for the wide range of projects Crane Korea supports.

Sin Heng’s Grove crane fleet expands again with GMK4100L-2

• The Singapore rental company has been a loyal Manitowoc customer since 2007 and its mobile fleet includes a number of Grove cranes.
• Sin Heng’s purchase of the GMK4100L-2 was the obvious next step after years of trouble-free, productive performance from its original GMK4100L.
• Improved load charts along the 60 m boom are ideal for construction of tall buildings, with a compact footprint aiding access and setup in the tight jobsites typical of Singapore.

First Grove GMK6400-1 in North America goes to Heaton Erecting in Georgia

• The largest model in Grove’s six-axle all-terrain range was delivered to Heaton Erecting in Atlanta.
• The crane features a MegaWingLift™ attachment, luffing jib, and MAXbase outrigger system, enabling it to take on jobs typically reserved for seven- or eight-axle cranes.
• The GMK6400-1 was Heaton’s latest crane to be supplied by Ring Power Crane; the two companies have worked closely together since 2009.

National Crane and LineWise team up for high-voltage power line work

• National Crane NBT60XL matched with the LineWise TLL-2000 Series 3 Triple Line Lifter expands the scope of work for electric utility contractors. 
• The boom truck’s nimble roading, stout charts, and quick installation of the attachment from ground level or flatbed mean contractors can quickly mobilize on the jobsite. 
• Additional National Crane models are compatible with the lighter TLL-1300 attachment.
