One of Europe’s largest construction companies is taking time from its busy CONEXPO schedule to commemorate its relationship with Manitowoc Cranes. Switzerland’s Stirnimann AG stopped by the Manitowoc booth for a special ceremony to celebrate the two companies’ long-standing partnership. Leadership from both companies toasted to their partnership and continued success in the region.

Custom Truck & Equipment a division of Utility 1 Source has finalized a deal at CONEXPO 2017 to add 75 National Crane boom trucks to its fleet. The Kansas City Missouri-based company will primarily use the cranes in its rental fleet which provides bare rentals to a variety of industries including oil and gas utility construction tree service and rail. The boom truck order is comprised of several models from across the National Crane range.

New from Manitowoc Cranes is another class-leading Grove rough-terrain crane that is sure to turn heads at CONEXPO 2017 where it has just been unveiled. The Grove GRT655 is the latest update to the company’s range of next-generation rough-terrain cranes and has a host of features that will help companies increase efficiency and return on investment.

The very latest in lifting technology is on show at the Manitowoc booth for this year’s CONEXPO where the company is putting a collection of its newest products on display. A host of unique innovations from across the company’s range of crawler cranes all-terrain cranes rough-terrain cranes boom trucks tower cranes and self-erecting cranes underline the manufacturer’s pre-eminence across the spectrum of lifting applications.

Visitors to CONEXPO 2017 are the first in North America to see the groundbreaking Potain Hup 40-30. This self-erecting crane was first previewed as a prototype at bauma 2016 in Munich Germany and officially launched at the Manitowoc factory in Niella Tanaro Italy in September 2016.

CONEXPO 2017 in Las Vegas Nevada is off to a quick start with several high-profile crane purchases being celebrated at the Manitowoc Cranes booth. W.O. Grubb has purchased the first three Grove GMK5150L all-terrains cranes in North America. The Richmond Virginia-based company already has an impressive Grove lineup in its fleet and this purchase will further enhance its lifting capabilities.

Manitowoc is featuring one of its newest rough-terrain cranes at CONEXPO 2017: the Grove GRT880. This crane which is on display at Gold Lot stand G3348 boasts several class-leading capabilities and Manitowoc’s Crane Control System (CCS).

The Potain MDT 219 tower crane is being showcased at a North American trade show for the first time at CONEXPO 2017 giving customers an opportunity to see first-hand the features and benefits that have made the crane a hit in the region. The MDT 219 has the highest capacity of all models in the MDT CCS City tower crane range making it ideal for North American construction where buildings are increasingly becoming taller and more complex.

Manitowoc is debuting the Potain MD 559 tower crane for the first time in North America at CONEXPO 2017. The 20 t (22 USt) crane represents Potain’s MD CCS range which has the highest capacities of all its top-slewing trolleying tower cranes.

Only minutes after the new Grove TMS9000-2 truck crane was unveiled at CONEXPO 2017 in Las Vegas Nevada one of Manitowoc Cranes’ most long-standing customers celebrated a purchase of the breakthrough model. Davis Motor Crane Service joined Manitowoc CEO Barry Pennypacker for a champagne toast to commemorate the occasion. The company was also presented with a celebratory plaque and a pair of customized Manitowoc-themed hard harts both of which were hand painted.

For the first time in North America Manitowoc is featuring the GMK5150L and GMK5250L at a tradeshow. The two new all-terrain cranes are a major highlight for CONEXPO 2017 and are sure to draw a crowd to the company’s booth.
