Manitowoc Cranes will use Dach + Holz International to introduce the Potain Hup M 28-22 self-erecting model, designed according to the needs of the German market.

The 80 km/h transport axle makes the Hup M 28-22 suitable for road transport in line with the needs of German customers.

Manitowoc will present this compact and high-performance model along with three of its distribution partners at booth 7/11 in the Free Area (Freigelände).

The construction contracting company is putting the crane to use to help build the “City Ridge” project, which is a redevelopment project in Washington D.C. 

One of Potain’s largest capacity cranes, this topless crane moves large amounts of material at a time and can be assembled and dismantled much quicker, expediting job site work.

A Grove GMK6400 from BKL Frankfurt’s crane fleet was used to erect a storage tank on Ingelheimer Aue during the construction of a power plant with a heat storage system.

With its powerful lifting capacity, the 6-axle crane was perfect for the demanding heavy lifting of the last component — the storage tank cover.

Based in Holland, Michigan, the company is selling and renting the entire range of Potain self-erecting cranes, as well as offering parts, service and training.

Manitowoc will unveil six new cranes at the show while several other models will make their North American debuts. In total, 10 cranes will be on display.
The new cranes will come from the Manitowoc, Grove, Potain and National Crane ranges.

Australian company RAR Group says the all-terrain crane has the best lifting capacity of any six-axle crane. 

The Grove GMK6400 is the biggest crane in RAR Group’s fleet. Since receiving the crane in January 2019, the company has deployed it on a wide range of projects. 

A Potain Igo 22 has been successfully installed on a job site in the center of Avignon a historic city in southeastern France’s Provence region. Access to the job site was challenging as it is only accessible via very narrow streets. However local dealer Uperio supplied a mobile crane to carefully lift the Igo 22 into place and managed the necessary road closures making the installation possible.
