Bigge was also presented with a celebratory plaque and a customized hand-painted hard hat one of only a dozen ever made.

Potain shows groundbreaking Hup 40-30 for first time in North America at CONEXPO 2017

Visitors to CONEXPO 2017 are the first in North America to see the groundbreaking Potain Hup 40-30. This self-erecting crane was first previewed as a prototype at bauma 2016 in Munich Germany and officially launched at the Manitowoc factory in Niella Tanaro Italy in September 2016.

W.O. Grubb takes first trio of Grove GMK5150Ls in North America at CONEXPO 2017

CONEXPO 2017 in Las Vegas Nevada is off to a quick start with several high-profile crane purchases being celebrated at the Manitowoc Cranes booth. W.O. Grubb has purchased the first three Grove GMK5150L all-terrains cranes in North America. The Richmond Virginia-based company already has an impressive Grove lineup in its fleet and this purchase will further enhance its lifting capabilities.

Manitowoc is featuring one of its newest rough-terrain cranes at CONEXPO 2017: the Grove GRT880. This crane which is on display at Gold Lot stand G3348 boasts several class-leading capabilities and Manitowoc’s Crane Control System (CCS).

Manitowoc displays popular Potain MDT 219 at CONEXPO 2017

The Potain MDT 219 tower crane is being showcased at a North American trade show for the first time at CONEXPO 2017 giving customers an opportunity to see first-hand the features and benefits that have made the crane a hit in the region. The MDT 219 has the highest capacity of all models in the MDT CCS City tower crane range making it ideal for North American construction where buildings are increasingly becoming taller and more complex.

Potain MD 559 takes to the skies at CONEXPO 2017 in Las Vegas

Manitowoc is debuting the Potain MD 559 tower crane for the first time in North America at CONEXPO 2017. The 20 t (22 USt) crane represents Potain’s MD CCS range which has the highest capacities of all its top-slewing trolleying tower cranes.

Only minutes after the new Grove TMS9000-2 truck crane was unveiled at CONEXPO 2017 in Las Vegas Nevada one of Manitowoc Cranes’ most long-standing customers celebrated a purchase of the breakthrough model. Davis Motor Crane Service joined Manitowoc CEO Barry Pennypacker for a champagne toast to commemorate the occasion. The company was also presented with a celebratory plaque and a pair of customized Manitowoc-themed hard harts both of which were hand painted.

Manitowoc debuts increased versatility for MLC300

Manitowoc has introduced a new version of the Manitowoc MLC300 that utilizes a fixed-position counterweight. This new model has many of the same features as the original MLC300 but does not feature Variable Position Counterweight (VPC) technology.
