KAS Crane Hire renews fleet with UK’s first Grove GMK3060L-1

• Family-run KAS Crane Hire from Barnstaple, Devon, was the first Manitowoc customer in the UK to take delivery of a new Grove GMK3060L-1 all-terrain crane featuring the next generation carrier cab. 
• The GMK3060L-1 replaces a GMK3055, which has proved a busy member of the company’s fleet along with the GMK4100L-1 purchased in 2019.
• KAS chose the GMK3060L-1 with a 48 m main boom for its industry-leading load charts, as well as the responsive and convenient aftermarket support from the Manitowoc UK team.

Cranserco delivers Grove GRT8100 rough-terrain crane to Indonesian gold mining business

• The 100 t crane was commissioned on site by Cranserco and is the first purchase of a Manitowoc crane by mining operator ASA
• The Grove GRT8100 was selected for its versatility and optimal lifting performance to support an extensive construction program and ongoing mining operations.

Scotland’s first Grove GMK5250XL-1 goes to Horizon Reinforcing & Crane Hire

• Horizon Reinforcing & Crane Hire from Falkirk in the Central Lowlands of Scotland has become the first rental company in the country to offer the new Grove GMK5250XL-1 all-terrain crane from Manitowoc.
• The family business, which runs a fleet of 18 cranes, chose the 250 t capacity GMK5250XL-1 as a replacement for its 300 t GMK6300L, which has proven a reliable and efficient machine for the company.

Ballast Nedam and Heddes Bouw & Ontwikkeling rely on Potain tower cranes for complex high-rise construction project in Leiden, the Netherlands

• Ballast Nedam and its subsidiary Heddes Bouw & Ontwikkeling have added two Potain MDT 319 tower cranes to their rental fleet to help construct student halls of residence at the Leiden Bio Science Park in the Netherlands.
• The MDT CCS topless cranes provided the Dutch construction and engineering company with the flexible configurations needed to meet the complex challenges of the job.

• L'efficienza della Grove GMK5250L-1 ha consentito a I.B.A. Crane di sollevare e posizionare con precisione l'albero di Natale con il minimo disturbo per il pubblico.

Chilean company Corssen relies exclusively on Grove for challenging high-elevation jobs

• The 35-year-old crane company is not afraid of taking its Grove cranes to work in altitudes as high as 15,000 ft (4,500 m).
• Corssen’s GRT8100 and GMK5250L are two of the company’s busiest cranes, and they work primarily in the mining and energy sectors.

Manitowoc appoints ANK Cranes as new Grove dealer and service supplier in Norway and Sweden

• Effective December 1, ANK Cranes will replace UN Mobilkraner as the authorized dealer and service supplier for Grove mobile cranes in Norway and Sweden.

• La società francese di noleggio Riviera Montage ha noleggiato sei gru a torre Potain all'appaltatore Da Mota Construction per un complesso a uso misto a Nizza, che comprende un nuovo negozio IKEA, unità residenziali, uffici e altri spazi commerciali.
• Riviera Montage e Da Mota Construction hanno scelto la flotta di tre gru Potain MDT 219, una MDT 269 e due MDT 319 per questo progetto grazie alla loro affidabilità, facilità di montaggio e funzionamento efficiente, che aiuterà il lavoro a rimanere nei tempi previsti.

Spira erects 25 t capacity Potain MDT 569 tower crane in just two days for KIT lab construction project

  • German construction equipment rental company Spira Baugeräte und Schalungslogistik has deployed its new Potain MDT 569 tower crane at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, where it will handle large, prefabricated elements for the construction of two new laboratory buildings over the course of 17 months. 
  • The customer required a crane to lift 15 t at 35 m and 8 t at 60 m, which made the MDT 569, with its 25 t maximum capacity and 80 m jib, ideally suited for the job.
