Manitowoc has added two new partners as EnCORE™ certified hydraulic cylinder repair specialists in North America. Select Fluid Power (Langley British Columbia Canada) and Ring Power Crane (Riverview Florida) expand the EnCORE™ certified coverage network for Manitowoc’s hydraulic cylinder repairs and return program bringing the total to four partners across North America.

Czech special transport company B+V Trans s.r.o. has taken delivery of a new Grove GMK5150L all-terrain crane to assist with loading and unloading trailers. B+V Trans is based in Tabor Czechia and is a specialist of heavy and oversized transport; it can transport parts with lengths of up to 45 m and weights of up to 60 t.

Yonkers Contracting Company (Yonkers) is using its recently acquired Grove GRT880 on an infrastructure project along Route 17 in Harriman New York. The project includes building a new bridge a new interchange and inserting new drainage has a quick-paced schedule and is expected to be completed later this year. Yonkers is using their GRT crane to lift steel beams precast drainage pipes and other materials for the project. Due to the reach needed to complete the lifts of the steel beams and drainage pipes the GRT880’s impressive load charts were on full display.

Manitowoc’s manufacturing facility in Charlieu France has shipped its 1000th Igo T 85. The landmark self-erecting crane has been sold to a customer in Benelux.

Two Potain MDT 269 J12s and one MDT 389 L16 tower crane are helping to construct the Trilogy Limassol Seafront in Limassol Cyprus. The project comprises three 170 m high luxury apartment towers together with work and relaxation spaces.

B. Pietrini and Sons based in King of Prussia Pennsylvania added a Grove GRT655 to its fleet to complete the Riverwalk Project in Philadelphia. The rough terrain crane is helping construct the first few levels of a 28-story and a 32-story residential building. The GRT655 will be onsite through the completion of the first four floors of the two buildings.

Grove and Strongco celebrated 60 years of doing business together during a special ceremony at bauma 2019 in Munich Germany. Strongco is a Grove Manitowoc and National Crane dealer that has a strong presence in selling renting and servicing equipment across Canada.

Manitowoc introduced customers to its new office in São Paulo Brazil. The new location brings together the Manitowoc Grove and National Crane sales and Crane Care teams in the region into one centralized place enabling for quicker response times for customers

Manitowoc is exhibiting at Vertikal Days 2019 taking place at Donington Park UK between 15 and 16 May 2019. Vertikal Days is the largest lifting equipment event for the UK and Ireland and is centered firmly around lifting and access.

Swiss transport heavy lift and warehouse logistics company Emil Egger AG has purchased three new Grove mobile cranes to form the backbone of its new facility in Bassersdorf near Zurich. Headquartered in St. Gallen Switzerland Emil Egger AG is an established mobile crane hire company for the construction industry specializing in complex projects in heavy lift logistics and the erection of tower cranes. The three cranes were supplied by Stirnimann AG and comprise one GMK6300L-1 one GMK5250L and one GMK5150L.

Potain and ETAC Peru celebrated more than 10 years of partnership during a special ceremony at bauma 2019 in Munich Germany. The company has been instrumental in helping expand Potain’s presence in South America as it services clients in Peru Colombia and Chile. The Lima Peru-based company is a well-known leader that deploys a professional technical team across the country to ensure that cranes and parts are readily available for sales and rentals.
