Manitowoc announces new leadership in Latin America

As Manitowoc continues to perfect its Latin American operations and invest heavily in the region the company proudly announces key changes to a few of its leadership roles.

“Manitowoc takes pride in cultivating the industry’s top talent and is pleased to announce these new appointments ” said Bruce Buchan senior vice president of sales and marketing for Manitowoc in Latin America. “We know that with these improvements to our team we will be able to serve our Latin American customers that much better.”

Leandro Moura has been promoted to marketing manager for Latin America. His experience and skills will play a vital role in developing the company’s reputation in the region and its expanding activities. In his new role based out of Saõ Paulo Brazil Moura will gather market data for all of Manitowoc’s products in Latin America. He will be at the helm of several strategic initiatives involving brand awareness advertising product development and distribution. Moura joined Manitowoc in February 2011 as sales administration manager for Latin America.

Guillermo Vazquez has been appointed to the position of vice president of sales for Mexico Central America and the Caribbean. Vazquez will be responsible for delivering both short- and long-term business objectives motivating and leading the sales team and directing research for the company’s strategic vision. Vazquez joined Manitowoc in June 2008 and most recently worked as a regional business manager for the Mexico Central America and the Caribbean region.

Jorge Zanella will now hold the role of regional business manager. Zanella will be responsible for the Grove product line in Mexico developing new channels of business and helping to meet market expectations. Zanella joined Manitowoc in February 2010 as a sales administration and finance manager for Mexico Central America and the Caribbean region.

Alberto Camarillo is now the regional business manager for the National Crane product line in Mexico Central America and the Caribbean. In this new role Camarillo will help develop new channels for business growth while overseeing existing channels. He will also assist in meeting market expectations. Camarillo joined Manitowoc in May 2008 as regional business manager working for the Grove product line.
