The Grove GRT655 rough terrain crane comes with a strong 34,8 m (114.3 ft) four-section, full power boom and it leads the pack with outstanding features typically only found on larger cranes: hydraulically tilting cab, Manitowoc's Crane Control System (CCS) with ECO mode and class leading chart capacities make this crane a jobsite winner. The GRT655’s compact size and footprint ensure that the crane can operate on narrow sites, even with the outriggers fully extended. And just like all GRT models, we are so confident in the performance and reliability of the GRT655 that we are backing it with a two-year standard warranty.
Now available on NEW GRT models: GRT655, GRT655L, GRT880 and GRT8100
• Since the launch of the Grove GRT655 and GRT655L rough-terrain cranes in 2017, they have proven a popular model on jobsites around the world because of their flexibility.
• Manitowoc offers the 60 t rough-terrain crane with two boom versions for different applications: the GRT655 with 34.8 m boom for heavy duty applications and the GRT655L with 43 m long boom for those applications where reach is a must.
• Here are just five reasons behind the success of these models
The first Grove GRT655L and GRT655 rough terrain cranes have been assembled at Manitowoc’s Niella Tanaro plant. The news comes almost exactly one year after it was announced that GRT880 and GRT8100 rough terrain cranes would begin production from the Italian factory – the first to be produced outside of Shady Grove Pennsylvania USA. What’s more given the success of the production of GRT8100 and GRT880 models from Niella Tanaro Manitowoc has decided to expand the product portfolio of its European production.
