Bizim Vinç takes delivery of Turkey’s first Grove GMK6450-1
- First job for the crane was lifting work on the Sazlı Bosna Highway project, and it will travel to further infrastructure and industrial projects.

Industrial services company Bizim Vinç has received the first Grove GMK6450-1 all-terrain crane in Turkey for its equipment rental division. The company acquired the heavyweight addition to support a range of upcoming complex infrastructure and industrial projects.
The crane’s first task was for main contractor Rönesans on a major new highway close to the rapidly developing Sazlı Bosna area of Istanbul. Here, the crane lifted formwork for viaduct construction, with its compact design and lifting performance well-suited to the confined and demanding conditions. Future jobs for the GMK6450-1 include supporting hangar installation works at İGA Istanbul Airport and upgrade work at a cement facility operated by Limak Holding.
Bizim Vinç specified its GMK6450-1 with a range of options, including the variable outrigger positioning system, MAXbase™, and the self-rigging, capacity-enhancing MegaWingLift™ attachment. These additions will enhance strength and operational flexibility, allowing the crane to handle more technically demanding lifts.

In addition to the GMK6450-1, Bizim Vinç’s fleet includes GMK5250XL-1 and GMK5150XL cranes, enabling the company to provide a comprehensive range of lifting solutions as it scales its mobile crane business. Customer support for the Grove fleet is provided by Karun Makina, with aftersales service manager Cihan Bektaş leading the work.
In addition to the parts and service provided by Karun, Bizim Vinç also has access to the wide suite of aftermarket products and services offered by Manitowoc, including training, digital solutions, EnCORE™ refurbishments and used equipment sales.
