Grove will highlight hybrid innovation and regional partnerships at JDL Expo 2025
- Grove will showcase five cranes at the show, including four all-terrain cranes and one rough-terrain crane. Notably, the Plug-in Hybrid all-terrain crane, the GMK5150XLe, and a selection of cranes provided by French lifting companies will be at the Company’s booth.
- Grove and Potain’s commitment to responsive, expert customer support will be in evidence across all showcased models.
Manitowoc is set for JDL Expo, where the Company will feature the most cutting-edge models of Grove all-terrain and rough-terrain cranes, as well as Grove and Potain aftermarket service offerings. The event will take place September 17–19 in Beaune, France, and will draw many of the region’s top equipment, logistical, and lifting companies. Manitowoc will be located on stand 50.

With a new service location in Méru, close to Paris, we are also expanding and strengthening our aftermarket offerings in France,” said Olivier Regis, Manitowoc’s sales director for Grove mobile cranes in France.
Grove will highlight five cranes, all of which exemplify the latest advances in versatility, transportability, and lifting performance.
- GMK5150XLe: The 150 t capacity Plug-in Hybrid all-terrain crane offers the ability to work emission-free while maintaining the full flexibility of a mobile crane with a traditional diesel engine. It features a 68.7 m main boom and multiple taxi configurations for roadability and jobsite versatility. It is modelled on Grove’s conventional diesel-engine GMK5150XL, which is also on display at JDL Expo in the colours of Cayon, a regional crane rental specialist.
- GMK3060L-1: This will be showcased by ALM, a lifting company specializing in compact, high-performance mobile cranes. This 60 t capacity, three-axle all-terrain crane features a 48 m seven-section MEGAFORM® boom and compact dimensions, making it ideal for urban projects.
- GMK4080L: Foselev, a national player in lifting and industrial services, is showcasing the Grove GMK4080L. With an 80 t capacity and a 60 m boom, this four-axle model offers strong performance in tight spaces.
- GRT550: A 45 t capacity rough-terrain crane with a 39 m four-section full-power boom that is compact, easy to transport, and offers reliable off-road performance and simple setup for a range of lifting applications.
This year’s display also reinforces how Manitowoc is expanding its support for customers across every stage of crane ownership. Beyond sales and service, the Company offers multiple options that include EnCORE™ refurbishment and rebuild programs, model-specific modifications, and a growing range of used crane services. Digital tools like Grove CONNECT™ support fleet monitoring and maintenance planning, while dealer partnerships and training programs help ensure technical knowledge stays close to the jobsite. Together, these efforts reflect Manitowoc’s focus on long-term equipment reliability and customer support.
From Potain, a host of aftermarket information will also be available, including comprehensive parts and repair services offered by the Company. The eye-catching vintage Potain service van, which featured at bauma 2025, will be present, symbolizing the decades-long commitment to industry-leading customer service. There will also be displays showcasing the Potain CONNECT™ telematics platform, used cranes, Lift Solutions, and much more.

GMK4080L
The Game Changer.
The GMK4080L is an outstanding four-axle taxi crane that, with its 60-meter-long boom, offers both the longest boom and the lowest gross vehicle weight in its class. Within 10 t per axle, the crane can carry 5.2 t counterweight and even 13.3 t counterweight with 12 t axle load. The GMK4080L can also carry its full 19 t counterweight with less than 16.5 t axle load. This flexibility makes it the ultimate taxi crane. In addition, the GMK4080L impresses with strong load charts, both with full counterweight and taxi counterweight.

GRT550
The GRT550 rough terrain crane offers the highest capacity and the longest boom in the 50 t class. Its compact size allows for easy transportability between jobsites and makes it best suited for congested work areas and everywhere there is need for long reach in a very compact footprint. A newly designed, comfortable, high-visibility cab with a 12’’ (30.5 cm) touchscreen and CCS display provides the operator an ergonomic and productive workspace. And just like all GRT models, the crane carries a two-year standard warranty.
