Europe’s largest ever Potain top-slewing cranes tackle massive Gravagna viaduct refurbishment in Italy

• Italian construction company ITINERA has called on Manitowoc to support the renovation of the Gravagna viaduct near Genoa with the world's first MDLT 1109 models, the largest top-slewing cranes ever produced from Potain in Europe.
• The MDLT 1109 replaces the hugely popular MD 1100 and combines high performance lifting (11.1 t at 80 m) with compact transport and simplified assembly.

Grove GMK6300L-1 proves perfect for compact jobsite in downtown Rotterdam

• Kraanverhuur Boekestijn sent its Grove GMK6300L-1 for city center work in the Dutch port city of Rotterdam.
• The crane was set up in a restricted space to replace 750 windows in a downtown high-rise building, each weighing 800 kg.

• Dutch transportation and lifting company Gaffert assigned its new GMK5250XL-1 all-terrain crane to an office development in Amsterdam to lift technical items needed for the building’s elevator fire safety system.
• The job lasted two days due to space limitations but was completed seamlessly thanks to the crane’s control and precision.

Grove GMK6300L-1 comes to the rescue following incident at Istanbul Airport

• A Grove GMK6300L-1 was rapidly deployed to assist with an aircraft salvage operation after a plane landed without its front landing gear at Istanbul Airport.
• The crane successfully lifted the 15.4 t nose of the airplane, ensuring the rescue operation was a success.
